Presentation guidelines

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

- The total time allotted to each speaker is 20 minutes. You should plan to speak for 15 minutes and leave 5 minutes for questions.
- The symposium will be equipped with a computer and a video projector for the oral sessions.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the conference computer to avoid A/V issues in changing from one computer to another.
- Normal audio equipment such as microphones will be provided.
- The computer at SAW Symposium 2018 will be equipped with current MS Windows as well as with Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader for presentation.

Guidelines for Poster Presentation

- The poster size is ISO A0 Portrait.
- As posters will be displayed on both days of the symposium, please hand over your poster at the registration desk in the morning of the first symposium day.
- The symposium should be attractive for industrial/end user participants. For this reason please include in your poster also possibilities/motivation/advantages for end-use applications of your developments if not obvious.


All SAW Symposium presentations will be made available for restricted download (password protected, password available to participants only). For this reason please submit an appropriate PDF file of your contribution to The deadline for this submission is September 17, 2018.
